Christopher C. Setaro has been with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith since 1993, where he specializes in Worker’s Compensation Law.
He was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 1990. He attended the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT (B.A., History, cum laude), and received his Law Degree from Catholic University School of Law, Washington, DC.
Prior to his current position with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith, Attorney Setaro was Staff Counsel for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 210, Norwalk, CT.
Attorney Setaro was also elected to the Danbury City Council where he served as a member and President. He also served as Administrative Aide to the Mayor in the Town of New Milford, CT.
Attorney Setaro is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of the State of Connecticut; and the US District Court for the District of Connecticut and the District of Columbia.
He is a member of the Workplace Injury Litigation Group; the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association; Worker’s Compensation Section; Connecticut Bar Association; Worker’s Compensation Section; and the Danbury Bar Association.
Attorney Setaro is also dedicated to community service and is a Member of the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge, the Portuguese Cultural Center, Danbury, CT, Danbury Elk's Lodge and St. Peter’s Church, Danbury, CT. He is also a former member of: Board of Directors, American Cancer Society; the Hispanic Center of Greater Danbury; and the Danbury Jaycees. Recipient of Distinguished Service Award from the Danbury Jaycees; and Recipient, Community Service Award from the Vespucci Lodge. |
