Rute Mendes has been practicing with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith since 2004, where she currently specializes in Personal Injury Law.
She was admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar in 2003 and the Connecticut State Bar in 2003. She attended Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, CT (B.S.), and received her Law Degree from New England School of Law, Boston, MA.
Attorney Mendes is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of the State of Connecticut and the Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Prior to her current position with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith, Attorney Mendes worked as an intern at Raymond C. Lubus and Associates, New Fairfield, CT; she worked in the Clerk’s office of the Danbury Superior Court, Danbury, CT; she was a civil litigation intern at Cushing & Dolan, PC, Boston, MA; she interned at the Attorney General, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, White Collar Crimes Division; she interned at Lapping & Picardi, LLP, Boston, MA, a Medical Malpractice Insurance Defense firm; and she was an associate at Scibelli & Whiteley, LLP, Boston, MA, a Complex Business Litigation firm.
Attorney Mendes is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association.
She is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. |
