Edwin Camacho is of counsel with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith specializing in Personal Injury Law, in both the State of Connecticut and the State of New York.
He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1984. He attended Amherst College, Amherst, MA (B.A.) and received his Law Degree form Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
Attorney Camacho is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Supreme Court of the State of New York; the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut and the US District Court, District of Connecticut.
Previously Attorney Camacho was the managing partner of Hunter & Associates, an insurance defense firm in New York City. Early in his career, Attorney Camacho was staff counsel with the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., a civil rights litigation firm in New York City and Phoenix Legal Services, Phoenix, AZ; as well as Senior Counsel to New York State Division of Parole, Albany, NY.
Attorney Camacho’s litigation and trial experience extends to the federal courts, both in New York and Connecticut. His background also includes medical malpractice litigation, criminal defense and appellate practice.
Attorney Camacho is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association.
He is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese. |
