Leah F. Walsh

Leah F. Walsh has been practicing with Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith since 2011, where she currently concentrates in Environmental Disaster Litigation, including the BP Oil Spill. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating with Departmental Distinction and as a National Honors Society Scholar. She received her Law Degree from Western State University College of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as Valedictorian.

Prior to joining Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith, Attorney Walsh was employed by Belser & Parke, LPA's (Asheville, NC), and Auman Law Offices (Asheville, NC), both Criminal Law firms focusing on Death Penalty Cases, Writs and Appeals. She then worked at the Law Offices of Keith S. Hanson (Asheville, NC), a general practice firm handling primarily Criminal Defense. While in California, she was a Law Clerk to Attorney E. Thomas Dunn, Jr. (Anaheim, CA), a State Certified Appellate Specialist whom she assisted in preparing both Federal and State Appeals. She was also a State Certified Law Clerk for Joe Young Law, Inc., (Los Angeles, CA), practicing in many areas of law including Business Litigation, Real Estate, Family Law and Personal Injury.
